Welcome to Energy Line 2000. This website was created in 1999 by and for renewable energy enthusiast to help educate the public about the need and use of alternative energy sources and fuels.

John, Fred and Terry, the original contributors of this site are still actively involved in RE although some of our interest have taken different roads.

John, who has the held webmastering duties of eline for the last five years has returned to school to further his knowledge in computer science, but still keeps "Hurricane Station Zulu" up and ready for emergency power.

Fred is currently working on the "Tortoise Camper", a totally independent mobile RE machine. Please take the time to visit his personal website.

And Terry has been designing and installing remote RE systems as well as expanding his system to take advantage of the south Florida sun by going photovoltiac.
